Designed and constructed computer hardware for cable television converter repair. Wrote diagnostic and controller software under MS-DOS and Windows. Built a converter reprogrammer that gave technicians the ability to repair the new state-of-the-art Jerrold converters and allowed Vision Electronics to repair 100% of the converters that were sent in for repairs. Designed and constructed a computer plug-in card to feed test signals to converters and wrote software to control it.
Game Developer (March 1991 to July 1992)
Wrote a commercial quality Artillery simulation game for the Commodore Amiga computer and released as freely distributable software.
Handled animation, frame rate control, and double buffering to improve appearance and performance.
Supported a variety of input devices and allowed control over the effect of gravity, drag, and wind speed on projectiles.
Also developed a skill-based role-playing game system intended for both publication in book form and as the basis of a computer role-playing game.

Wrote Pelican Press, a personal desktop publishing program with strong clip-art capabilities, an extensive set of painting operations, and the ability to produce printouts from 1 inch to over 10 feet tall for the Commodore Amiga computer. Designed, implemented, and tested the program using the C language on the AmigaDOS multi-tasking operating system and the Intuition graphical user interface. Wrote 100 page user manual using MacWrite and PageMaker on an Apple Macintosh.

Set up competition database, logged entries, generated reports and pull-sheets. In 1997, coordinated the judging of 222 homebrewed beers in 15 category groups by over 40 judges and stewards.
